What is happening?

THE KINGSTON UPON HULL CITY COUNCIL

PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY NO 6
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER EXTENSION 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council have been given consent to extend this Order until 16th June 2026.

The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person from proceeding along Public Right of Way Number 6, Kingston upon Hull.

The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during the carrying out of embankment strengthening works to the riverbank.

The alternative route for pedestrians will be signed.

Access will be maintained for emergency services.

The Order came into effect 16th June 2025, expiring on 15th December 2025. The Secretary of State for Transport have given the Kingston upon Hull City Council consent to extend this period to 16th June 2026, or until completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.
