Little Wellington Street, Rushmoor – Temporary Road Closure and No Waiting Suspension due to Demolition Works

What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE & SUSPENSION OF NO WAITING AT ANY TIME – LITTLE WELLINGTON STREET, RUSHMOOR

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Little Wellington Street between its junction with the ‘spur’ of Little Wellington Street behind the Conservative Club and its junction with Wellington Street.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE:
For Pedestrians – Wellington Street, B3008, Station Road.
For Vehicles – access will be maintained to the parking spaces.

ROAD TO HAVE TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF NO WAITING AT ANY TIME: that part of Little Wellington Street ‘spur’ between the junction with Little Wellington Street for the extent of the road.

DURATION OF ORDER: from 1st December 2025 for a period of 18 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the temporary suspension of No Waiting at Any Time will be required for no longer than 7 weeks and in operation for 24 hours a day. The road closure will be in place for 18 months.).

The road closure and suspension of No Waiting at Any Time have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Rye Demolition to carry out demolition works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order or the associated works, please contact: ed@elmsbrook.com

Rye Demolition will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
