LONDON BOROUGH OF ENFIELD

Proposed Minor Works on ALBANY ROAD EN3, GATWARD GREEN N9, MARKET PARADE N9, HAZELWOOD LANE N13, NIGHTINGALE ROAD N9, and NORTHFIELD ROAD EN3 and adjacent roads

PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE ENFIELD (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. *) TRAFFIC ORDER 202, THE ENFIELD (GOODS VEHICLE LOADING BAY) (NO. 3) (AMENDMENT NO. ) TRAFFIC ORDER 202 AND THE ENFIELD (PARKING PLACES) (PAY AND DISPLAY) (VARIOUS ROADS) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (NO. 1) (AMENDMENT NO. ) ORDER 202

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Enfield (the Council) propose to make the above-named Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. The general effect of the Orders would be to:

(1) introduce small sections of double yellow lines in:

(a) Albany Road, the north side, outside No. 6 Albany Road.

(b) Chimes Avenue, both sides at the junction of Hazelwood Lane.

(c) Gatward Green, both sides, outside Nos. 48 to 51 Gatward Green.

(d) Hazelwood Lane, both sides at the junction of Lynbridge Gardens and Chimes Avenue.

(e) Lynbridge Gardens, both sides at the junction of Hazelwood Lane.

(f) Market Parade, the west side, south of No. 1 Market Parade.

(g) Nightingale Road, the east side, outside Nos. 85 and 87 Nightingale Road.

(h) Northfield Road, junction protection measures at the junctions with Chester Gardens, Mayfield Crescent, Norfolk Road, Oxford Road, Southfield Road, and Suffolk Road.

(2) introduce on Market Parade:

(a) an at any time 20-minute goods vehicle only loading bay outside Nos. 4–6 Market Parade.

(b) paid 2-hour limited waiting parking places on Market Parade operating Monday to Saturday between 8am and 6.30pm outside Nos. 1 to 3 Market Parade and Nos. 6 to 9 Market Parade. The parking charges will be:

(3) remove footway parking exemptions in:

(a) Market Parade, the east side, between the junctions of Beechwood Mews and Church Street.

(b) Nightingale Road, the east side, outside Nos. 85 and 87 Nightingale Road.

  2. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Orders or make any other representations must do so by midnight on 11 January 2026.

    Any such objection or any representation must be in writing, quoting reference TG52/1606A, and must state the grounds on which it is made. Objections or representations can be made in any of the following ways:
