What is happening?
NOTICE OF MAKING
WELWYN HATFIELD BOROUGH COUNCIL
THE BOROUGH OF WELWYN HATFIELD (CONTROL OF PARKING) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2021 AND VARIOUS ORDERS (AMENDMENT) ORDER NO. 2 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council (pursuant to arrangements made with Hertfordshire County Council) has made the above Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to amend Traffic Regulation Orders in relating to Welwyn Hatfield Borough on-street permit zones as specified in the Schedules to this Notice.
This Order will come into effect on Monday 5 January 2026.

or upon appointment during normal reception opening hours at Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council, The Campus, Welwyn Garden City from Wednesday 26 November 2025 until Wednesday 7 January 2026. A copy can also be sent via post during this period upon request.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, may within 6 weeks from the date of this notice, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
