NOTICE OF INTENTION
WELWYN HATFIELD BOROUGH COUNCIL
THE BOROUGH OF WELWYN HATFIELD (HALDENS, WELWYN GARDEN CITY) (PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council (pursuant to arrangements made with Hertfordshire County Council) proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to introduce restrictions in Haldens, Welwyn Garden City as specified in the Schedule to this notice.
A copy of the draft Order and associated documents may be viewed at https://www.welhat.gov.uk/parking-consultations, or by appointment during reception opening hours at Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council, The Campus, Welwyn Garden City from Wednesday 26 November 2025.

Objections to the proposals must be submitted in writing (including objector’s name and address) stating the grounds on which they are made, by Thursday 25 December 2025, either by post to Geoff Sampson, Council Offices, The Campus, Welwyn Garden City, Herts AL8 6AE, or by email to parkingservices@welhat.gov.uk
Please note, the extended closing date for objections is to reflect the publication of this Public Notice in Welwyn Hatfield Times on Wednesday 3 December 2025 to comply with legislation.
SCHEDULE 1: 2 hours parking places Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm no return within 4 hours – that section of road listed below and as set out in the Order and accompanying plan
