ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
(NELL GAP LANE, MIDDLESTOWN)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 362) 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to alter existing gas apparatus to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Nell Gap Lane, Middlestown for approximately 50 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Nell Gap Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: New Road, Thornhill Road & vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 8th December 2025 to 12th December 2025, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(FAIRWAY AVENUE, NORMANTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 363) 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for a new electric service connection to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Fairway Avenue, Normanton for approximately 25 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Fairway Avenue.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: N/A.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 8th December 2025 at 08.00 hours to 19th December 2025 at 18.00 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(AGINCOURT DRIVE, ALTOFTS, NORMANTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 364) 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Agincourt Drive, Altofts, Normanton from the junction of Church Road to Hastings Court. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Agincourt Drive.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: N/A.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 8th December 2025 at 08.00 hours to 10th December 2025 at 18.00 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
