TEMPORARY CLOSURE C52 BUTTERMILK LANE (RUDFORD & HIGHLEADON PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C52 Buttermilk Lane from a point just before ‘The White House’ to the entrance to ‘The Hall’ for a distance of approximately 175 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for drainage works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 8th January 2026 to 9th January 2026.

However, if the works are not completed by this date the Order can remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
