What is happening?

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The works will be completed within the period of the Orders. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders are being enforced for public safety.

STATION ROAD, OLD DALBY

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 12/01/2026 and have a maximum duration of 3 days. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 3 days to allow Network Rail to carry out a railway bridge safety inspection. The proposed diversion route will be via: Main Rd, The Green, Wood Hill, Lawn Ln, Old Dalby; Six Hills Ln B676, A606, Dalby Rd, Broughton & Old Dalby & vice versa.

LOUGHBOROUGH ROAD, GRIMSTON

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC 2025

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 19/01/2026 and have a maximum duration of 12 days. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 12 days to allow Leicestershire County Council to carry out carriageway surfacing works. The proposed diversion route will be via: A6006, B676, A606, A6006 & vice versa.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 19/01/2026 and have a maximum duration of 4 days. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 4 days to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake a utility connection in the highway.

LANDYKE LANE, HOLWELL; WALTHAM ROAD, BRANSTON

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 22/01/2026 and have a maximum duration of 3 days. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 3 days to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake carriageway improvement repairs. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 21/01/2026 and have a maximum duration of 3 days. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 3 days to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake carriageway improvement repairs. There is no diversion route available at this location.

SCHEDULE 1

Skerry Lane, Muston for its entire length.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The works will be completed within the period of the Orders. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders are being enforced for public safety.

FROM BUCKMINSTER ROAD TO B676, SPROXTON

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

The Order will come into force on 08/12/2025 and have a maximum duration of 2 days. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 2 days to allow MJ Quinn on behalf of BT to undertake telecom pole replacement work. The proposed diversion route will be via: From Buckminster Rd To B676, Buckminster Rd, Sproxton; Sproxton Rd, The Crescent, Buckminster; B676 & vice versa.

MAIN STREET, GOADBY MARWOOD

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

The Order will come into force on 08/12/2025 and have a maximum duration of 10 days. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 10 days to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake highway drainage improvement works.

SCHEDULE 1

Main St, Goadby Marwood between the access into The Rectory & The Hall.

HARBY LANE, PLUNGAR

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

The Order will come into force on 10/12/2025 and have a maximum duration of 1 day. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 1 day to allow MJ Quinn on behalf of BT to undertake telecom pole replacement works in the highway. The proposed diversion route will be via: Highgate Ln, Long Ln, Canal Ln, Harby Ln, Plungar.
