DEDDF RHEOLEIDIO TRAFFIG FFYNRDD 1984 - ADRAN 14(1)

Mae Cyngor Sir Ddinbych yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn ddim cyn ta 7 diwrnod o 3 Rhagfyr 2025, sydd yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag teithio ar hyd y darn hwnnw o ffordd o’r enw B4401 Ffordd Llandrillo, Cynwyd yn Sir Ddinbych sy’n ymestyn tua’r gogledd o bwynt 310 metr i’r gogledd o’i gyffordd a’r ffordd o’r enw ‘Ffordd Hendre oddi ar B4401 i Gwm Uchaf’ am bellter o tua 400 metr.

Mae’n rhaid cau’r ffordd er mwyn hwyluso’r gwaith o newid prif bibell ddwr, gan OCU Group Ltd ar ran Dwr Cymru.

Bydd y ffordd ar agor i gerddwyr drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.

Bydd arwyddion i ddangos y llwybr arall ar hyd y B4401, A5, A494 a B4402.

Bydd y Gorchymyn mewn grym o 5 Ionawr 2026 am gyfnod o ddeunaw mis neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi ei gwblhau, pa un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Disgwylir i’r gwaith barhau tan tua 6 Chwefror 2026.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER

DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

B4401, LLANDRILLO ROAD, CYNWYD

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

Denbighshire County Council intends not sooner than 7 days from 3rd December 2025 to make an Order prohibiting vehicles using that length of B4401 Llandrillo Road, Cynwyd in the County of Denbigh which extends northward from a point 310 metres north of its junction with the road known as ‘Hendre Road off B4401 to Cwm Uchaf’ for a distance of approximately 400 metres.

The closure is necessary to facilitate water main replacement works by OCU Group on behalf of Dwr Cymru/Welsh Water.

Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The signposted alternative route will be via B4401, A5, A494 and B4402.

The Order is effective from 5th January 2026 for an eighteen-month period or the earlier completion of the works whichever is soonest. The works are expected to last approximately until 6th February 2026.
