What is happening?
(B725 DUMFRIES - WATERBECK) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2025
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close B725 between junction of C12n Bankend Road, Dumfries and Shearington from 17/12/2025 to 18/12/2025 0930 to 1530 daily. The closure is necessary to facilitate BT pole replacement works. Alternative route available via B725, B724, A75, A780, A756, B725 and vice versa.
Emergency access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
(A710 DUMFRIES – NEW ABBEY – DALBEATTIE) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2025
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close A710 near South Corbelly Cottage, New Abbey from 0930 to 1530 on 18/12/25. The closure is necessary to facilitate BT pole replacement. Alternative route available via A710, C10n, A711, C6s, B793, A710 and vice versa. Emergency access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
