Riverhead, Grimsby - Prohibition of Driving, Waiting and Loading Restrictions

(Riverhead, Grimsby) (No. 23-06) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that on 2nd December 2025 North East Lincolnshire Borough Council made the above Traffic Regulation Order under powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to: -

1. Revoke all existing prohibition of driving, waiting and loading restrictions covering the Riverhead, Grimsby

2. Introduce a “Goods Vehicle Loading Only - 6am - 12pm” restriction on part of the Riverhead, Grimsby

3. Introduce “No Waiting at Any Time” restrictions on part of the Riverhead, Grimsby

4. Introduce “No Loading” restrictions on part of the Riverhead, Grimsby

• Introduce an “Authorised Vehicle Only” restriction on part of the Riverhead, Grimsby

The Order will come into force on the 8th December 2025.

If any person wishes to challenge the validity of the Order, or any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
