THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
(ON STREET PARKING PLACES) (CIVIL ENFORCEMENT) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO 93) (SATURDAY MARKET, BEVERLEY) ORDER 2025
1. East Riding of Yorkshire Council proposes to make a Road Traffic Regulation Order to amend The East Riding of Yorkshire Council (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement) (Consolidation) Order 2021 the effect of which will be to amend the parking layout in the existing Restricted Parking Zone in Saturday Market, Beverley as follows:
(a) To modify the site layout by creating two additional parking bays while maintaining circulation lanes, thereby increasing the number of pay-and-display spaces in the main market square from 26 to 28.
(b) To reconfigure the disabled bays without reducing their number, ensuring improved clarity and accessibility for disabled parking.
These changes will provide two extra parking spaces and enhance clarity for disabled parking arrangements, achieved by adjusting the layout while retaining the existing number of disabled bays.
2. A copy of the Order and relevant plans may be examined during normal office hours at Beverley Customer Service Centre, Champney Treasure House, Champney Road, Beverley, HU17 8HE. (Ref: TMS3309615).
3. Objections to the proposed Order, stating the grounds for objection, should be emailed to
traffic.consultation@eastriding.gov.uk or sent in writing to Traffic & Parking Services, Directorate of Communities & Environment (Ref: TMS3309615), Beverley Depot, Annie Reed Road, Beverley, HU17 0LF by 30 December 2025.
