The City of Cambridge (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Order 2022 (Amendment No. 59) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that on the 3rd of December 2025 Cambridgeshire County Council made the abovenamed Order under the powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and the Traffic Management Act 2004 (as amended).
The effect of this Order is to amend the days of operation of the existing lengths of single yellow lines on the northern sides of Paradise St, Grafton St and John St to include Sundays, making the 09:00-17:00 waiting restriction operational on all days of the week.
For administrative purposes the Order includes the amendment of various restrictions in the area to match existing on-street extents.
A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on the 6th of December 2025, and a Statement of the Council’s Reason for having made the Order, may be inspected at the office of the undersigned during normal office hours and online, on the Council’s website, at the following address https://shorturl.at/ cjnIO – see reference PR1097.
Any person desiring to question the validity of the above-named Order or any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with may do so by application to the High Court within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made.
