Pasture Road - Provision Of Puffin Crossing

PROVISION OF PUFFIN CROSSING ON PASTURE ROAD, STAPLEFORD

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 proposes to install a signalised puffin crossing on Pasture Road, Stapleford in the Borough of Broxtowe, outside Albany Junior School.

The proposals will incorporate a controlled area, indicated by zig-zag markings along the carriageway where parking, stopping and loading will be prohibited. The extents of the controlled areas are:-

Pasture Road, Stapleford (both sides)
• From the boundary line of properties 78a and 80 Pasture Road in a south-easterly direction for 66 metres.

The proposed Puffin Crossing would improve pedestrian and cyclists accessibility when crossing over Pasture Road to access Albany Junior School, as well as improving safety. Further details can be found by visiting the County Council's Website (https://consult.nottinghamshire.gov.uk)

Any objections to the proposals, specifying the grounds on which they are made, should be sent in writing before 5th January 2026 using the e-mail or postal address at the bottom of the letter.
