Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2025
On 3 December 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of C85 Dwelly Lane, Edenbridge which extends from its junction with C92 Honeypot Lane southwards to a point 300m south of its junction with X10208 Access to Farm from Dwelly Lane. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate capital safety defect works and/or major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 8 December 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Alternative Route – C85 Dwelly Lane, C92 Honeypot Lane, C92 Honeypot Lane (Kent), Little Browns Lane (Kent), Crouch House Road (Kent), Lingfield Road (Kent), C87 Haxted Road and C85 Dwelly Lane.
