Mae Cyngor Sir Ddinbych yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn ddim cynta na 7 diwrnod o 3 Rhagfyr 2025, sydd yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio'r ffordd Dosbarth III o’r enw ‘Cyffylliog i Bontuchel’, Cyffylliog yn Sir Ddinbych sy’n ymestyn o’i gyffordd â ‘Cyffylliog i Gyffordd Cefn Trefor’ i’w gyffordd â ‘Ffordd Penrhiw Fawr i Gyffordd Tyn Celyn’.

Mae’n rhaid cau’r ffordd er mwyn hwyluso’r gwaith o adnewyddu prif bibell ddwr, gan OCU Group Ltd ar ran Dwr Cymru.

Bydd y ffordd ar agor i gerddwyr drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.

Bydd arwyddion yn dangos y llwybr teithio arall wedi’u gosod ar y safle.

Bydd y Gorchymyn mewn grym o 5 Ionawr 2026 am gyfnod o ddeunaw mis neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi ei gwblhau, pa un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Disgwylir i’r gwaith barhau tan tua 23 Ionawr 2026.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER

DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

CLASS III ROAD, CYFFYLLIOG

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

Denbighshire County Council intends not sooner than 7 days from 3rd December 2025 to make an Order prohibiting vehicles using the Class III road known as ‘Cyffylliog to Bontuchel’, Cyffylliog in the County of Denbigh which extends from its junction with ‘Cyffylliog to Cefn Trevor junction’ to its junction with ‘Penrhiw Fawr Road to Tyn Celyn junction’.

The closure is necessary to facilitate water mains renewal works by OCU Group Ltd on behalf of Dwr Cymru/Welsh Water.

Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The alternative route will be as signposted on site.

The Order is effective from 5th January 2026 for an eighteen-month period or the earlier completion of the works whichever is soonest. The works are expected to last approximately until 23rd January 2026.
