Bolinge Hill (Petersfield Road), Buriton - Temporary Road Closure due to Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – BOLINGE HILL (PETERSFIELD ROAD), BURITON, EAST HAMPSHIRE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Bolinge Hill (Petersfield Road) between its junction with B2070 The Causeway and its junction with Bolinge Hill Farm.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B2070, Greenway Lane
DURATION OF ORDER: from 5th December 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, working between the hours 09:30 – 15:30).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Openreach to carry out pole replacement and tree cutting. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: surveys@sunbeltrentals.co.uk
Openreach will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
