Kearton Drive Cycleway/Footpath - Temporary Road Traffic Regulation Order

What is happening?

The Council of the City of Salford intends to make in no less than 7 days under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: SALFORD CITY COUNCIL (KEARTON DRIVE CYCLEWAY/FOOTPATH) TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025.

The Order will introduce a cycleway/footpath closure on Kearton Drive, between Bentcliffe Way and Gilda Brook Road, Eccles, M30 0BP. The Order is necessary for Salford City Council's Kearton Drive retaining wall refurbishment scheme. The order is due to come into operation on Monday 12th January 2026 and will last for a period of 6 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 13th March 2026. The diversion routes are via Lane End - Regent Street - Gilda Brook Road, vice versa.
