What is happening?

CITY OF NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE

(ETHERSTONE AVENUE) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 27 October 2025 the Council of the City of Newcastle upon Tyne made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be for a temporary no waiting restriction will be introduced at

2. north side of Etherstone Avenue, from its junction with the unclassified road adjacent to Sainsbury's, eastwards for 420 metres.

3. Nothing in Article 1 of this Order shall apply to police, fire brigade or ambulance vehicles on emergency call.

4. The Order will come into operation on 7 December 2025 and will continue as and when relevant traffic signs are displayed, up to 3 May 2026.
