What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984 – SECTION 14(1) AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT, 1991
WALSALL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC) (CAVENDISH ROAD, BLOXWICH) ORDER DECEMBER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicles proceeding in that length of:
• CAVENDISH ROAD, BLOXWICH that is situated at its junction with Stephenson Avenue. (Monday 15 December to Friday 19 December).
Reason for Order: HV cabling.
Works on behalf of: National Grid.
This Order will come into operation on Monday 15 December 2025. It is anticipated that the works will be completed in phases as close as possible to the dates above. Signed diversion routes (viewable on the website one.network) will be in operation for affected traffic. The Order will remain in force for a period of up to eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
