What is happening?

PUBLIC NOTICE


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 2nd December 2025 Wolverhampton City Council made the following Order under Sections 1, 2 and 124(1)(d) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order which comes into operation on 8th December 2025 is as follows:
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (BILSTON) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO 2) ORDER 2025
This Order will prohibit any vehicle to wait at any time on any day in parts of Mount Pleasant and Willenhall Road.
Existing Traffic Regulation Orders will be revoked to the extent necessary to facilitate the provisions of this Order.
A copy of the Order and Plan showing the parts of the roads affected may be inspected during normal office hours at the Main Reception, Civic Centre, St Peter's Square, Wolverhampton or viewed online at

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant section of the Act or on the ground that any requirement of those sections of the Act or of Parts I to III to the Act or any regulation under the said Part III has not been complied with may, within six weeks of 2nd December 2025 make an application for the purpose to the High Court.
