Waveney Gardens - Temporary Road Closure

PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 2nd December 2025 Wolverhampton City Council made the following Order under Sections 1, 2, and 124(1)(d) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order which comes into operation on 19th December 2025 is as follows:

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (PENN) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO 1) ORDER 2025
This Order will prohibit any motor vehicle to:
(i) wait at any time on any day and to load and unload at any time on any day in parts of Waveney Gardens, Oakley Road and Buckley Road;
(ii) wait at any time on any day in parts of Waveney Gardens as specified on the Plan.
A copy of the Order, Statement of Reasons and Plan showing the parts of the roads affected by the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at Main Reception, Civic Centre, St Peter's Square, Wolverhampton or viewed online at

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant section of the Act or on the ground that any requirement of those sections of the Act or of Parts I to III and IV of Schedule 9 to the Act or any regulation under the said Part III has not been complied with may, within six weeks of 2nd December 2025 make an application for the purpose to the High Court.
