MAE GWEINIDOGION CYMRUyn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn o dan adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 ymhen dim llai na 7 niwrnod i ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn. Mae angen y Gorchymyn arfaethedig er mwyn gwneud gwaith ar gefnffordd yr A483, neu gerllaw iddi, i’r gogledd o Landdewi Ystradenni, Powys.
Effaith y Gorchymyn arfaethedig fydd gwahardd dros dro bob cerbyd, ac eithrio’r rhai a ddefnyddir gan y gwasanaethau brys neu ar gyfer y gwaith, rhag mynd ar y darn o gefnffordd yr A483 sy’n ymestyn o ganolbwynt ei chyffordd â’r fynedfa ogleddol i bentref Llanddewi Ystradenni hyd at ganolbwynt ei chyffordd â ffordd sirol yr C1203 sy’n arwain i Laithddu.
Y llwybr arall ar gyfer cerbydau sy’n teithio tua’r gogledd fydd mynd ar yr A483 tua’r de i’r Groes, yr A44 tua’r gorllewin i Raeadr Gwy, yr A470 tua’r gogledd-ddwyrain i Lôn y Clawdd, Caerswˆ s, yr A489 tua’r dwyrain i’r Drenewydd a’r A483 tua’r de: i’r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer cerbydau sy’n teithio tua’r de.
Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 12 Ionawr 2026. Disgwylir y bydd y gwaharddiad dros dro yn weithredol yn ysbeidiol o 19:00 o’r gloch ar 12 Ionawr hyd 07:00 o’r gloch ar 31 Ionawr 2026, neu hyd nes y caiff yr arwyddion traffig dros dro eu symud ymaith yn barhaol.
Dim ond yn ystod y cyfnod a bennir uchod y disgwylir i’r Gorchymyn fod yn weithredol. Er hynny, bydd yn parhau’n ddilys am gyfnod o 18 mis ar y mwyaf rhag ofn y bydd angen ailamserlennu’r gwaith neu wneud gwaith canlyniadol neu waith arall. Bydd hysbysiad am unrhyw newidiadau i’r amseroedd a’r dyddiadau yn cael ei arddangos cyn gwneud unrhyw waith a ailamserlennir.

THE A483 TRUNK ROAD (LLANDDEWI YSTRADENNI TO LLAITHDDU JUNCTION, POWYS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 202-
THE WELSH MINISTERS propose, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which is necessary to undertake works on or near the A483 trunk road north of Llanddewi Ystradenni, Powys.
The effect of the proposed Order will be to temporarily prohibit all vehicles, other than those being used by the emergency services or for the works, from proceeding on the length of the A483 trunk road that extends from the centre-point of its junction with the northern access to the village of Llanddewi Ystradenni to the centre-point of its junction with the C1203 county road leading to Llaithddu.
The alternative route for northbound vehicles will be via the southbound A483 to Crossgates, westbound A44 to Rhayader, north-eastbound A470 to Moat Lane, Caerswˆ s, eastbound A489 to Newtown and southbound A483: vice-versa for southbound traffic.
The Order will come into force on 12 January 2026. The temporary prohibition is expected to operate intermittently from 19:00 hours on 12 January until 07:00 hours on 31 January 2026, or until the temporary traffic signs are permanently removed.
Although the Order is only expected to be in force during the period specified above it will remain valid for a maximum period of 18 months, as a contingency, s hould the work need to be rescheduled or consequential or other work is required. Notice of any changes to times and dates will be displayed before any rescheduled work begins.
