Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Brize Norton, Station Road – 40mph Speed Limit
Date of Order: 15 December 2025
Coming into force: 1 January 2026
This Order is being introduced for road safety to enable safe ingress and egress to the adjacent works site at Britannia Gate, RAF Brize Norton. The effect of the Order, which is in place until May 2027, is to temporarily reduce the national (60mph) speed limit to 40 mph, from the junction of A4095 to the start of Brize Norton Village (20mph). Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: 17063/RAG)
