Y ffordd arall ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio i gyfeiriad y gogledd-ddwyrain o bwynt i’r de o’r darn ffordd a gaewyd yw teithio ar hyd yr C1042 i’r gyffordd â’r U5081. Trowch i’r chwith i’r U5081 gan deithio i’r gyffordd â’r B4334. Caniateir mynediad i gerddwyr. Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio tua’r gogledd-ddwyrain o bwynt sydd i’r gorllewin o’r darn ffordd a gaewyd bydd teithio ar hyd yr U5125 Lôn Y Felin i’r gyffordd â’r C1048. Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio tua’r gogledd-orllewin, ar hyd y A486, o bwynt sydd i’r de-ddwyrain o’r darn ffordd a gaewyd bydd teithio tua y gogledd-orllewin ar hyd yr A487 i dan y dolenni arwyddion gwyrdd sydd yno’n barod; ac i’r gwrthwyneb. Cyfanswm pellter o oddeutu 8.1 milltir. Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio tua’r gogledd-orllewin, i’r U5125 Lôn Y Felin, o bwynt sydd tua’r de-ddwyrain o’r darn ffordd a gaewyd bydd teithio tua at y de-orllewin ar hyd yr A487T a dilyn yr arwyddion gwyrdd sydd yno’n barod; ac i’r gwrthwyneb. Cyfanswm pellter o oddeutu 2.5 milltir. Bydd y Gorchymyn yn rym 01/12/2025 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym nes bod Dwr Cymru wedi cwblhau’r gwaith adnewyddu ar fri ffibellau sydd amherthnasol presennol rhwng tua 14 wythnos. Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio tua’r gogledd y bwynt sydd i’r de o’r darn ffordd a gaewyd bydd teithio ar hyd y C1006 i’r gyffordd â’r A486 ym Maenygroes. Trowch i’r dde i’r A486 gan deithio i’r gyffordd â Ffordd Town. Trowch i’r dde i Ffordd Town gan deithio i’r gyffordd â Sgwâr Ucheldir. Trowch i’r dde i Sgwâr Ucheldir ac ewch ymlaen, gan barhau i’r B4342, Stryd Margaret, i’r gyffordd â Heol Francis. Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio tua’r gogledd-ddwyrain o bwynt sydd i’r de-orllewin o’r darn ffordd a gaewyd bydd teithio ar hyd y C1006 a Stryd Francis i’r gyffordd â’r B4342, Nant Ifan. Trowch i’r dde i’r B4342, Nant Ifan ac ewch ymlaen, gan barhau i’r B4342C, i’r gyffordd â Lôn Penrhiw Pistyll. Trowch i’r dde i Lôn Penrhiw Pistyll gan barhau i bwynt sydd i’r gogledd-ddwyrain o’r darn ffordd a gaewyd. Cyfanswm pellter o oddeutu 1.2 milltir.

Daeth y Gorchymyn i rym ar 01/12/2025 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym nes bod Dwr Cymru wedi cwblhau’r gwaith adnewyddu ar brif bibellau sment asbestos presennol ymhen tua 13 wythnos. Gall y Gorchymyn barhau mewn grym am 18 mis.

Cyngor Sir Ceredigion

NOTICE is given that the Council have made the Ceredigion County Council (U5080 Brynhoffnant and Glynarthen, Llandysul) Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2025 to prohibit any vehicle proceeding along that highway. Pedestrian access maintained.

The alternative route for north–eastbound traffic from a point south of the closure is to travel along the C1042 to its junction with the U5081. Turn left onto the U5081 and travel to its junction with the B4334. Turn left onto the B4334 and travel to its junction with the U5080, a point north-east of the closure and vice versa. A total distance of approximately 1.1 miles.

The alternative route for northbound traffic from a point south of the closure is to travel along the C1042 to its junction with the U5078. Turn right onto the U5078 and travel to its junction with the U5080. Turn right onto the U5080 and travel to a point north of the closure and vice versa. A total distance of approximately 1.4 miles.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic from a point west of the closure is to travel along the U5080 to its junction with the U5078. Turn left onto the U5078 and travel to its junction with the C1042. Turn left onto the C1042 and travel to its junction with the U5081. Turn left onto the U5081 and travel to its junction with the B4334. Turn left onto the B4334 and travel to its junction with the U5080, a point east of the closure and vice versa. A total distance of approximately 2.5 miles.

The Order was implemented on the 27/11/2025 and will remain in force for approximately 9 days whilst the resurfacing works are being undertaken. The Order may continue in force for 18 months.

NOTICE is given that the Council have made the Ceredigion County Council (A486 Synod Inn and Pentre’r Bryn, Llandysul) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2025 to prohibit any vehicle proceeding along that highway. Pedestrian access maintained. The alternative route for north–west bound traffic from a point west of the closure is to travel along the U5125 Lôn Y Felin to its junction with the C1048. Turn left onto the C1048 and travel to its junction with the A487T. Turn left onto the A487T and travel to its junction with the B4342C at Llanarth. Turn left onto the B4342C and travel approximately 2.5 miles, continuing on the B4342 Margaret Street, Park Street, Hill Street, Church Road and A486. Travel along the A486 through Maenygroes and Cross Inn to a point north–west of the closure; and vice versa. A total distance of approximately 10.5 miles. The alternative route for north–west bound traffic, along the A486, from a point south–east of the closure is to travel north–east along the A487T and follow existing diversion; and vice versa. A total distance of approximately 8.1 miles. The alternative route for north–west bound traffic, to the U5125 Lôn Y Felin, from a point south–east of the closure is to travel south–west along the A487 and follow existing diversion; and vice versa. A total distance of approximately 2.5 miles. The Order was implemented on the 01/12/2025 and will remain in place until the renewal works of existing asbestos cement mains are completed by Welsh Water in approximately 14 weeks. The Order may continue in force for 18 months.

Phase 1: C1006 & Mason’s Street Rear Lane. 01/12/2025–12/02/2026.

The alternative route for northbound traffic from a point south of the closure is to travel along the C1006 to its junction with the A486 at Maenygroes. Turn right onto the A486 and travel to its junction with Towyn Road. Turn right onto Towyn Road and travel to its junction with Uplands Square. Turn right onto Uplands Square and travel, continuing onto the B4342, Margaret Street, to its junction with Francis Street. Turn right onto Francis Street and travel to a point north of the closure and vice versa. A total distance of approximately 1.4 miles.

Mason Street. 01/12/2025–12/02/2026.

There is no alternative route.

Phase 2: Penrhiw Pistyll Lane. 29/01/2026–13/03/2026.

The alternative route for north-eastbound traffic from a point south-west of the closure is to travel along the C1006 and Francis Street to its junction with the B4342, George Street. Turn right onto the B4342, George Street and travel, continuing onto the B4342C, to its junction with Penrhiw Pistyll Lane. Turn right onto Penrhiw Pistyll Lane and travel to a point north-east of the closure. A total distance of approximately 1.2 miles.

The Order was implemented on the 01/12/2025 and will remain in place until the renewal works of existing asbestos cement mains are completed by Welsh Water in approximately 13 weeks. The Order may continue in force for 18 months.
