What is happening?
North Yorkshire Council, Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Stump Cross to Aldborough, Boroughbridge, Order 2025,
No. 467 We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Stump Cross to Aldborough, Boroughbridge for a
temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 08/12/25 & 14/12/25, due to section 278 works. However, the max
duration of this Order is until 22/12/25. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be

Temporary Prohibition Of Pedestrians, Public Footpaths 15.14/4/1 & 15.14/7/1 & Public Bridleway 15.14/5/1, Fewston,
Order 2023 No 44 Notice is hereby given that the above Order, the effect of which is to prohibit any public access along Public
Footpaths 15.14/4/1 & 15.14/7/1 between grid references SE 13656 55235 to SE 14311 55653 & SE 16286 55434 to SE 16419
55231, & any pedestrian, cyclist or person riding or leading a horse from using Public Bridleway 15.14/5/1, Fewston, between
grid references SE 14364 55667 to SE 16065 55577 to ensure public safety during the construction of the A59 Kex Gill road
diversion scheme has been continued in force for a further 18 months until 12/06/27 or until the completion of the works
(whichever is the earlier), under Section 15(3) of the above Act with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport. The

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Little Studley Road, Ripon, Order 2026, No. 484 We intend to
make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Little Studley Road, Ripon due to rebuilding boundary wall. During the works,
the one-way system on Spring Bank Road will be removed, & a two- way system will be introduced. This change will be clearly
marked with signage and managed by Traffic Control Ambassadors. It is envisaged that the restriction will be in force from
05/01/26 until 05/03/26 inclusive, however the max duration of this Order will be for 12 months until 05/01/27. The closure
period will only apply as indicated by the placing of traffic signs & a local alternative route will also be signed on site where

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Otley Road, Harrogate, Order 2026, No. 485 We intend to make this Order to prohibit any
vehicle from using Otley Road, Harrogate for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 05/01/26 & 15/02/26,
due to enable Northern Powergrid Balfour Beatty to install ducting as part of the 11KV & 33KV scheme. The closure period will

Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians, Public Footpath 15.44/25/1, Fountains Earth, Order 2025 No 486 We have made
this Order to prohibit any pedestrian from using the Public Footpath, 15.44/25/1 in the Parish of Fountains Earth, between grid
reference SE14476773 to SE14476772 for a temporary period of 6 months (subject to access to premises) between 04/12/25 &
12/05/26, due to a bridge out of repair. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be

20, 30 & 40 Mph Speed Limits, Various Roads, Sicklinghall, Order 2026 Notice is hereby given that The North Yorkshire
Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 84(1) & (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9
to the 1984 Act, the effect of which will be to prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 20 mph on any
length of road specified in Schedule 1 below, from travelling at a speed in excess of 30 mph on any length of road specified in
Schedule 2 below & from travelling at a speed in excess of 40 mph on any length of road specified in Schedule 3 below:-
Schedule 1 - 20mph Speed Limit Main Street, Sicklinghall, from its junction with Park Lane / Kirkby Lane in an easterly direction for
848 metres. Back Lane, Sicklinghall, from its junction with Main Street to its junction with Longlands Lane (for its entirety). Stokeld
Lane, Sicklinghall, from its junction with Main Street for a distance of 97 metres. Longlands Lane, Sicklinghall, from its junction with
Main Street to its junction with Back Lane. Stokeld Lane, Sicklinghall, from its junction with Wetherby Road to its junction with
Stokeld Lane. Schedule 2 - 30mph Speed Limit Longlands Lane, Sicklinghall, 115 metres south of its junction with Back Lane for a
distance of 766 metres in a southerly direction. Stockeld Lane, Sicklinghall, 97 metres from its junction with Main Street / Wetherby
Road for a distance of 493 metres in north easterly direction. Schedule 3 - 40mph Speed Limit Paddock House Lane, Sicklinghall,
from its junction with Kirkby Lane in a south easterly direction for a distance of 830 metres. Kirkby Lane, Sicklinghall, from a point
125 metres west of its junction with Paddock House Lane for a distance of 732 metres in a north easterly direction. Wetherby Road,
Sicklinghall, from a point 160 metres from its junction with Main Street / Stokeld Lane for a distance of 502 metres to the exiting
national speed limit sign. A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council’s
reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton & at Harrogate Library, Victoria Avenue,
Harrogate, HG1 1EG during normal office hours from 04/12/25 until 16/01/26 & also viewed online at

Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking, No 15, Order 2025 Notice is hereby given that on 28/11/25 The North
Yorkshire Council made an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the
1984 Act”) & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004 (“the 2004 Act”) & of all other enabling

been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks of 28/11/25 make application to the High Court for the purpose.
