AMENDMENT NO. ORDER 2025*

Southend-on-Sea City Council (hereinafter referred to as “the Council”) in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 4 and 122 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) (“the 1984 Act”) and the Traffic Management Act 2004 (“the 2004 Act”) and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, hereby give notice that it intends to make the following Amendment Orders:

  • The Southend-on-Sea City Council (Waiting, Loading, Stopping and Parking Places) (Map-Based) (Hudson Crescent) Amendment No.* Order 2025

  • The Southend-on-Sea City Council (Waiting, Loading, Stopping and Parking Places) (Map-Based) (Oxford Terrace) Amendment No.* Order 2025

The effect of the Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs) would be as follows:

PTO1137 – Hudson Crescent

a) To introduce a disabled bay outside No.36 Hudson Crescent.

b) To introduce No Waiting at Any Time (double yellow line) restrictions outside No.23 Hudson Crescent, from opposite and in line with the existing restrictions outside No.50 to the property boundary of No.21 and No.23.

PTO1143 – Oxford Terrace

To introduce No Waiting at Any Time (double yellow line) restrictions, within the entire length of Oxford Terrace, on both sides on the road.

Copies of the Notice of Intent (NOI), proposed draft Amendment Orders, the Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders and designs showing the proposals can be inspected;

    and,

  • At the Civic Centre, Victoria Avenue, Southend-on-Sea, SS2 6ER.

The public consultation period will be live from 1st December 2025 until 22nd December 2025.

Any persons desiring to make a comment on the proposals, only within the given dates, can do so by:

, or by emailing traffweb@southend.gov.uk, or stating the grounds thereof in writing addressed to the Traffic Management Team to the address stated above.

    The changes for On-street parking will amend the following Order; ‘The Southend Borough Council (Waiting, Loading, Stopping and Parking Places) (Map Based) (Consolidation) Order 2021’.
