Hysbysir trwy hyn bod Cyngor Dinas Casnewydd, wrth arfer ei bwerau dan Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), wedi gwneud gorchymyn a fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw berson rhag defnyddio’r llwybr troed a nodir yn yr atodlen isod.
Mae’r llwybr amgen ar hyd St Cadoc’s Close, Roman Way, Eastfield View, College Glade a Ponthir Road, Caerllion, Casnewydd.
Y rheswm dros wneud y gorchymyn yw hwyluso gwaith adeiladu ar gyfer datblygiad preswyl newydd a ganiateir.
Bydd y gorchymyn arfaethedig ar waith o 5 Rhagfyr 2025 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw’n hwy na 5 mis neu nes bod y gwaith wedi ei gwblhau, pa un bynnag fydd gyntaf.

NEWPORT CITY COUNCIL
(COLEG PARC, CAERLEON, NEWPORT) (FOOTPATH NUMBER 389/22/1) (TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Newport City Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) has made an order the effect of which will be to prohibit any person from proceeding along Footpaths in the below schedule.
The alternative route is via St Cadoc’s Close, Roman Way, Eastfield View, College Glade and Ponthir Road, Caerleon, Newport.
The reason for making the order is to the facilitate construction work for new permitted residential development.
The order will be operative from 5th December 2025 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 5 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
