NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along those lengths of Park Avenue South and Landcross Drive, Northampton as set out below.
LENGTHS OF ROADS TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Park Avenue South – from Abington Park Crescent to Billing Road and Landcross Drive from Abington Park Crescent for 50 metres.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during gas main replacement works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 5th January 2026 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATIONS: It is expected that Park Avenue South will be restricted until 25th January 2026 and Landcross Drive between 26th January and 11th February 2026.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Park Avenue South – use Rushmere Road, Bedford Road, Cliftonville Road, Alfred Street, St Edmunds Street and Wellingborough Road. Landcross Drive – use Billing Road East, Park Avenue South and Abington Park Crescent.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic including pedestrians and equestrians from proceeding along that length of Angel Street Northampton as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Angel Street, Northampton from Guildhall Road to Fetter Street.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during overhead telecom works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 5th January 2026 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Wallace Road, Northampton as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Wallace Road, Northampton from the junction of Kenmuir Road to Raeburn Road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway repairs.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 11th December 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 1 day.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Kenmuir Avenue, Malcolm Road and Raeburn Road.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Kenmuir Crescent, Northampton as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Kenmuir Crescent, Northampton from the junction with Kenmuir Avenue.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Staffords Lane, West Haddon as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Staffords Lane, West Haddon for its entire length.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Denton Road, Castle Ashby from the junction of the A428 to the road to Chadstone.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during meter exchange works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 8th December 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length South Kilworth Road, Welford from the junction of West End for 300 metres north west.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during new water mains works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 9th December 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during defect remedial works.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during new water connection works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 10th December 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
