Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Herodsfoot. This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th January 2026 to 7th January 2026. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 24th June 2025 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being PROW Footpath 2 in the Parish of Botus Fleming for its entire length The Order which commenced on the 25th June 2025 and is currently in force for up to six months will now continue until the 4th June 2026. The continuance of this Order, which was to have expired on the 4th December 2025 has been approved by the Secretary of State for Transport. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to a damaged footbridge. Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.
