(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of road in the County of Northumberland:
• C358 North Road from its junction with U9092 Thornhill Road for a distance of 680 metres in a north-westerly direction.
• C358 Smallburn to Hiddlestone from its intersection with C358 North Road for its entire length.
• C358 Hiddlestone to East Thorn Junction from its intersection with C358Smallburn to Hiddlestone for its entire length.
• C358 East Thorn Junction to Lodge Plantation from its intersection withC358 Hiddlestone to East Thorn Junction for its entire length.
• C151 Eastgate Junction to Tranwell Woods Junction from its intersection with C358 East Thorn Junction to Lodge Plantation for a distance of 2510 metres in a north-easterly direction.
The Order is to be effective from the 26th January 2026 until the 26th July 2026.
For information purposes, it is expected that the road will only be closed from the 26th January 2026 until the 30th January 2026 between the hours of 9:30 and 15:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 26th July 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the Order is in force being C358, A696, B6524, C153, C361 and vice versa and should the need arise for changes to be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
C85 HIGH POWBURN TO FRONT STREET POWBURN
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C85 High Powburn to Front Street Powburn from its junction with Breamish Park Lane heading in a southerly direction for a length of 140 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 5th January 2026 until the 9th July 2026. It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 5th January 2026 until the 9th January 2026 and that the road will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 9th July 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C85, A697, C85 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

C50 BURNHOUSE ROAD WOOLER
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C50 Burnhouse Road Wooler from outside the front of number 2 Burnhouse Road heading in a south easterly direction for a length of 38 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 6th January 2026 until the 13th January 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 6th January 2026 between the hours of 09:00 until 15:.30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 13th January 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C50, A697 and C48 and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

U3148 PERCY STREET ALNWICK
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U3148 Percy Street from its junction with Green Batt Alnwick for its entire length in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 8th January 2026 until the 8th July 2026. It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 8th January 2026 until the 9th January 2026 between the hours of 08:00 until 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 8th July 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C422, B6341, C421, U3148 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

B6353 CROOKHAM TO FORD VILLAGE
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6353 Crookham to Ford Village from its junction with Ford Bridge Junction to Tweedmouth heading in a south westerly direction for a length of 137 metres in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 12th January 2026 until the 12th July 2026. It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 12th January 2026 until the 2nd May 2026 and that it will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 12th July 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being B6353, B6525, A697, B6354 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
C144 NETHERWITTON TO PIGDON, PIGDON
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the speed by vehicular traffic from 60 MPH down to 40 MPH on that section of the C144 Netherwitton to Pigdon from its junction with C143 Stanton Hall Junction to Haredene Junction heading in an easterly direction for a distance of 385 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 6th January 2026 until the 12th January 2026
It is expected that the road will only be restricted on the 6th January 2026 between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30.

C47 NORTH CHARLTON TO BROWNIESIDE, BROWNIESIDE
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C47 North Charlton to Brownieside from its junction with the A1 heading in a westerly direction for a length of 50 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 22nd January 2026 until the 23rd June 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 22nd January 2026 until the 23rd January 2026 between 20:00 hours and 06:00 hours during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 23rd June 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being A1, C47 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

B1340 DENWICK LANE TO DENWICK VILLAGE
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B1340 Denwick Lane To Denwick Village from its point with B1340 Denwick Village heading in a westerly direction for a length of 365 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 13th January 2026 until the 10th July 2026. It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 13th January 2026 until the 15th January 2026 between the hours of 20:00 until 06:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 10th July 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being B1340, B6346, A1068, B1339, C78, C79, C80 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

C71 DOXFORD TO CHRISTON BANK DOXFORD
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C71 Doxford To Christon Bank from its junction with C69 Doxford Hall To Chathill heading in a south westward direction for a distance of 1110 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 20th January 2026 until the 2nd February 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 20th January 2026 until the 21st January 2026 between the hours of 08:30-16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 2nd February 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via C71, C70, C69 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the A197 St Leonards Lane To A1 Junction from its junction with the C148 St Leonards Lane for a distance of 140 metres in a south-easterly direction in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 7th January 2026 until the 20th January 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 8th January 2026 until the 16th January 2026 between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 20th January 2026.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C59 Easington Grange Junction to Detchant Park Junction from 495 metres east of its junction with the A1, continuing west for 40 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 24th January 2026 until the 25th January 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 24th January 2026 until the 25th January 2026 between the hours of 23:00 until 8:30.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the A1, C60, C59 and vice-versa.

The Order is to be effective from the 15th December 2025 until the 16th December 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 15th December 2025 between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 16th December 2025.

PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY NUMBER 24
(TEMPORARY PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council has made an Order to prohibit the use of Parish of Heddon-on-the-Wall Public Bridleway Number 24, in the County of Northumberland.
The route is described as follows:
From a point 315 metres south of Loudside Farmhouse in a northerly direction for a distance of 375 metres to a point on the U9037 road 35 metres north of Loudside Farmhouse.
There is an alternative route available from a point 315 metres south of Loudside Farmhouse in a northerly direction for a distance of 380 metres to a point 55 metres north-east of Loudside Farmhouse.
The Order is to be effective from the 8th December 2025 until the 8th June 2026.
