TEMPORARY PARKING & TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS LEIGHTON CLOSE, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering, proceeding along Leighton Close from its junction with Stoneleigh Road to a point approximately 60m from the junction when prescribed signs are displayed.
The Order will come into effect at 07:00 hours on Monday, 8 December 2025 and is required to enable Cadent Gas to carry out main replacement and associated works on Leighton Close to take place safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by 22 December 2025.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the closure will be sign posted on site.
Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(d) reasonable local vehicular access to Leighton Close.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS EARLSDON CHRISTMAS MARKET 2025
Coventry City Council (“the Council”) under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, as amended, intends to make a temporary Order (“the Order”), the purpose of which is to facilitate the holding of, and to enable members of the public to attend Earlsdon Christmas Market 2025.
The Order would come into effect at 10.00 hours on Thursday 18th
December 2025 and would remain in effect until 00.00 hours on Thursday 18th December 2025.
The general effect of the Order would be to prohibit all vehicles from:
(a) Entering or proceeding along the Earlsdon High Street in both directions between its junctions with Providence Street and Moor Street.
The restrictions in the Order shall apply to such extent and at such times as indicated by prescribed traffic signs on site.
The Order would prohibit vehicles to such an extent and at such time as indicated by event marshals and prescribed traffic signs on site. Diversion routes for the closures will be as signed on site.
Exemptions would be provided for any vehicle being used in connection with the event, emergency service vehicles, any person upon the direction of or with the permission of a police officer in uniform or an authorised traffic management event marshal.
Pedestrian access to all properties within the restricted roads would be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of the closure.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS WARWICK STREET, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding along Warwick Street for its full length.
The Order would come into effect from 00:01 hours on Monday 15th December 2025 and is required to enable Severn Trent Waters to safely renew a chamber cover.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by 23:59 hours on Monday 15th 2025.

Exemptions would be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(d) local vehicular access.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS ST MARGARET ROAD, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding along St Margaret Road commencing at its junction with Gulson Road and continuing to its junction with David Road.
The Order would come into effect from 00:01 hours on Monday 15th December 2025 and is required to enable Severn Trent Water to safely install a new water connection on or near the said road.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by Wednesday 17th December 2025.
The specific closure times would apply as the signage indicates on site.
Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic would be as signed on site.
Exemptions would be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(d) local vehicular access to St Margaret Road.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS INNIS ROAD, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding along Innis Road outside no 12 and then approximately 10m in each direction.
The Order would come into effect from 00.01 hours on Monday 15th December 2025 and is required to enable Cadent Gas to safely install a new gas connection on or near the said road.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by Thursday 18th December 2025.
The specific closure times would apply as the signage indicates on site.
Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic would be as signed on site.
Exemptions would be provided for:

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS GREYFRIARS LANE, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to temporarily revoke the no right turn from Greyfriars Lane onto New Union Street when prescribed signs are displayed. The revocation would enable traffic to turn in both directions at the junction of Greyfriars Lane with New Union Street whilst the Order is in force.
The Order would come into effect at 00:01 hours on Friday 12th December 2025 and is required to avoid danger to pedestrians and other road users because of traffic build up associated with egress from Salt Lane Carpark and Barracks Way being closed.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until
the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by Saturday 12th June 2027.
The specific closure times would apply as the signage indicates on site.
Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic would be as signed on site.
Exemptions would be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TAKE NOTICE that THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COVENTRY,
in exercise of their powers under:
Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972, and
Section 117-121 of the Charities Act 2011, as interpreted by Charity Commission guidance CC28, intends to dispose of a piece of land at Earlsdon Avenue South, Coventry being the site of the former Wisteria Lodge by way of freehold disposal.
The area which is proposed to be sold comprises approximately 1.22 acres in size.
The land is currently held for charitable purposes and comprises open space. The Council proposes to dispose of the land for development purposes.
A plan showing the location of the intended disposal can be inspected at the Council House, Earl Street, Coventry, CV1 5RR (Room CH18) during normal office hours or online at https://www.coventry.gov.uk/ parks-open-spaces/local-government-act-1972-section-123-1-2a.
