What is happening?

THE BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL (SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2021 (AMENDMENT NO ) ORDER 202

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Buckinghamshire Council proposes to make the above-named Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 in relation to the proposed Double Yellow Lines, Speed Limit change and toucan crossing. Buckinghamshire Council is also proposing to convert sections of footway to shared use under Section 65 of the Highways Act 1980.

The proposals on the Pinewood Road are listed below:

Pinewood Road (near junction with Pinewood Green) Signal-Controlled Toucan Crossing
Pinewood Green Junction with Pinewood Road (from north of proposed toucan crossing at Pinewood Road to near edge of house no. 178 and from give way marking at junction to opposite of house no. 178 on south side in Pinewood Green) Conversion and widening of pedestrian footway into shared use pedestrian and cycle facility
Pinewood Green/Pinewood Road Junction (Pinewood Road, for a length of approximately 33 metres from the junction with Pinewood Road) No Waiting at Any Time (Double Yellow Lines – to be effective 24 hours a day, 7 days a week)
Pinewood Road, Iver (from north of the Pinewood Studios/Pinewood Road Roundabout to south of the Pinewood Road/Pinewood Green priority junction) Reducing the speed limit from 40mph to 30mph for the proposed length of circa. 820 metres

A copy of the Order and Plans showing the length of road affected, together with a copy of the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected Mon to Fri, 9am–5pm at Buckinghamshire Council, Council Access Plus, Walton Street, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, HP20 1UA.

Comments and objections on the proposals (together with the grounds of any objection) must be sent in writing by 11:59pm on the 19th of December 2025 to the Buckinghamshire Highways Design Services Team, Council Access Plus, Walton Street Offices, Walton Street, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, HP20 1UA, or you can email us your response via highways.consultations@buckinghamshire.gov.uk with the subject ‘Pinewood Road Toucan Crossing, Iver’.
