What is happening?

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE

(Rectory Rd, Taplow) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025

which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Rectory Rd for approx. 57M. Alternative route: Rectory Rd, Berry Hill, Bath Rd, Station Rd, Boundary Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst ducting works commence on 8 December 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 8 December 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(New Rd, Coleshill) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025

which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in New Rd for approx. 684M. Alternative route: Whielden Ln, Amersham Bypass, Gore Hill, Tower Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Trooli works commence on 8 December 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 8 December 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Tylers Hill Rd, Chesham) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025

which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Tylers Hill Rd for approx. 21M. The closure is required whilst Affinity Water fit stop tap connection on 9 December 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 9 December 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Chesham Rd, (Layby) Great Missenden) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025

which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Chesham Rd (Layby) for approx. 76M. The closure is required whilst Openreach underground access to cableworks commence on 16 December 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 16 December 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Winslow Gardens, High Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025

which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Winslow Gardens for approx. 30M. Alternative route: Winslow Gardens, Tilling Crescent and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Cadent Gas new connection works commence on 15 December 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 15 December 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Hitcherfoot Rd (side rd), High Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025

which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Hitcherfoot Rd for approx. 41M. The closure is required whilst replace hardware on structure for telecommunications works commence on 17 December 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 17 December 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Village Rd, Denham) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025

which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Village Rd for approx. 147M. Alternative route: Village Rd, Denham Ave, Oxford Rd, Old Mill Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst ducting works, build chambers and cabinets commence on 6 December 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 6 December 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(East Burnham Ln, Burnham) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025

which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in East Burnham Ln for approx. 30M. Alternative route: Thompson’s Ln, Crown Ln, East Burnham Ln and vice versa. The closure is required whilst a service pipe repair commences on 3 December 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 3 December 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Rose Hill, Burnham) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025

which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Rose Hill for approx. 476M. Alternative route: Nashdom Ln, Taplow Common Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst CityFibre works commence on 1 December 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 1 December 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Lodge Ln, Little Chalfont) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025

which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Lodge Ln for approx. 831M. Alternative route: Amersham Rd, Chalfont Station Rd, Burtons Ln, Lodge Ln and vice versa. The closure is required whilst AB SDMs for AB LOADS and crane commence on 19 December 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 19 December 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

THE COUNCIL HAS MADE

The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No. 1/2, Parish of Marlow) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2025

under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in the length of Public Footpath commencing at the junction of MAW FP 1/2 & Rebourne and continues south for approx. 75M to the Marlow Bridge. Alternative route is via existing public highway. The closure is required whilst use of public safety works scaffolds are and working to mend the maintenance works on the underside of Marlow Bridge. The Order will come into operation on 24 November 2025, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
