What is happening?
THE NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL
(Leziate, Brow Of The Hill And Station Road) (Prohibition Of Waiting, Loading And Unloading) (Seasonal) Order 2025
The Norfolk County Council has made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the 26th November 2025 which comes into effect on the 1st December 2025.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit waiting, loading and unloading at any time from 1st April to 30th September in any year along lengths of roads specified in the Schedule below. The prohibitions will apply to both sides of the road including the carriageway, pavement and verge.
In response to feedback from the consultation the length of the prohibition near the centre of C55 Brow of the Hill Station Road has been reduced by the removal of a 25-metre length at the northern side of junction with Mintlyn Wood Road. Exemptions have also been added for residential properties situated along the length of the prohibition to enable them to receive deliveries and for emergency or septic tanks.

Copies are also available for inspection at: Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich, NR1 2DH and at the offices of: The Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk, King’s Court, Chapel Street, King’s Lynn, PE30 1EX. However, online viewing is recommended.
Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from 26th November 2025 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
