Wiltshire, Multiple Roads, Temporary Closures Due To Various Works

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:

A) Combe Lane (Part), Bratton; from its junction with Westbury Road to its junction with Upper Garston Lane to enable Openreach to carry out gully sucking and associated works. Alternative route via Upper Garston Lane – The Butts – Westbury Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 01 December 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 2 days. B) C362 (Part), Warminster; from its property known as No.32 Vicarage Street to its junction with Pound Street to enable Wales and West to carry out new connection and associated works. Alternative route via C362 (unaffected length) – A36 – B3414 – C362 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 01 December 2025 and the closure will be required until 04 December 2025. C) C213 (Part), Monkton Farleigh; from its junction with C214 for a distance of approximately 240m in a north easterly direction to enable Openreach to carry out overhead cabling works and associated works. Alternative route via C213 (unaffected length) – Farleigh Rise – C214 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 03 December 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. For further information please contact Openreach.

D) Leigh Grove (Part), Bradford on Avon; from its property known as Grove House for a distance of approximately 250m in a northerly direction to enable Openreach to carry out pole installation and associated works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 04 December 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. E) UC 864201, Longbridge Deverill; from its junction with UC 854204 to its junction with UC 864202 to enable Scottish and Power Distribution to carry out new connection and associated works. Alternative route via UC 864202 – C54 – UC 864206 – C273 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 03 December 2025 and the closure will be required weekdays only for 24 hours a day for 5 days. F) B3108 (Part), Winsley and Limpley Stoke; from its junction with Blackberry Lane to its junction with C221 to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works. Alternative route via B3108 (unaffected length) – A36 – A361 – B3105 – B3109 – A363 – B3108 (unaffected length) vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 01 December 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 until 10 December 2025. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

SECTION 16A OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic:

A) A342 (Part), Bromham; from its junction with Hawkstreet to its northern junction with Highfield.

B) C250 (Part) New Road, Bromham; from its junction with Hawkstreet to its junction with High Street to enable Bromham Pudding Run 10k Race. Alternative route via A342 (unaffected length) – A3102 – A350 – A365 – A361 – A342 (unaffected length) and vice versa.

The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 07 December 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 10:30 and 12:30 for 1 day. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the closure. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
