THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF GATESHEAD
(EAST PARK ROAD, SALTWELL, GATESHEAD - RONNIE WALKER 10K RUN) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY given that on the 03 December 2025 the Borough Council of Gateshead made an Order in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order is required to enable The Ronnie Walker 10k Run Event to take place and for the safety of those persons spectating and participating in the run. The effect of the Order, which commences on the 20 December 2025, is to prohibit any vehicle on East Park Road, Saltwell, Gateshead from its junction with Saltwell Road South for its entire length to its junction with Saltwell View. The road will be closed between the hours of 11.00 and 13.30 or at such times as the relevant traffic signs are in place. During the prohibition all traffic (except emergency vehicles on duty and vehicles involved in the Event) will be prohibited on the length of road described above. During the prohibition there will be a signed diversion in place.
