What is happening?
THE EAST RIDING
OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL

(CIVIL ENFORCEMENT) (CONSOLIDATION)
(AMENDMENT NO 92) (VARIOUS STREETS,
BRIDLINGTON) ORDER 2025
1. East Riding of Yorkshire Council proposes to make
a Road Traffic Regulation Order to amend The East
Riding of Yorkshire Council (On Street Parking
Places) (Civil Enforcement) (Consolidation) Order
2021 the effect of which will be to:
a) Remove a section of Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ)
parking bay (all days 9am - 6pm one hour period
no return within one hour or permit holders) and
replace its extents with a section of no waiting at any
time restrictions on Nelson Street, Bridlington.
b) Replace the existing shared use loading/parking bay
(loading only Monday to Friday, 9am - 4pm, CPZ
parking bay Saturday and Sunday, 9am - 6pm one
hour, no return within one hour or permit holders)
with a CPZ parking bay (all days 9am - 6pm one hour
period, no return within one hour or permit holders)
on North Street, Bridlington.
c) Remove two sections of CPZ parking bay (all days
9am - 6pm one hour, no return within one hour
or permit holders) and introduce two disabled
parking places at all times on New Burlington Road,
Bridlington.
d) Introduce no waiting at any time restrictions on
Medina Avenue, Bridlington.
e) Amend the time restriction on the existing disabled
parking place on Quay Road, Bridlington from
Monday to Saturday, 9am - 7pm one hour, no return
within one hour to Monday to Saturday, 9am - 7pm
three hours no return within three hours.
f) Extend the existing disabled parking place at all times
on Cliff Street, Bridlington.
g) Amend the time restrictions on two of the existing
limited waiting parking bays on Station Avenue from
Monday to Saturday, 8am - 6pm three hours, no
return within three hours to Monday to Saturday,
8am - 6pm 90 minutes, no return within two hours.
h) Amend the time restrictions on the existing disabled
parking place on Station Avenue from Monday to
Saturday, 8am - 6pm three hours no return within
one hour to Monday to Saturday, 8am - 6pm three
hours, no return within three hours.
2. The proposed changes are shown on Plan Tile
Reference AI156B, AJ156B, AJ157B, AJ158B, AK157B
& AK159B which is attached to the proposed Order.
The annotated illustrative drawings are also available
for inspection with reference TMN2505/1200/01,
TMN2505/1200/02, TMN2505/1200/03,
TMN2505/1200/04A, TMN2505/1200/05,
TMN2505/1200/06 & TMN2505/1200/07, which show
for ease of reference the proposed amendments.
If the Order becomes operative Plan Tile References
AI156B, AJ156B, AJ157B, AJ158B, AK157B & AK159B
will be incorporated into The East Riding of
Yorkshire Council (On Street Parking Places) (Civil
Enforcement) (Consolidation) Order 2021 to replace
the existing Plan Tile Reference AI156A, AJ156A,
AJ157A, AJ158A, AK157A & AK159B.
3. A copy of the draft Order, annotated illustrative
drawings and a statement of the council’s reasons
for proposing to make the Order are available for
inspection at Bridlington Customer Service Centre,
Town Hall, Quay Road, Bridlington, YO16 4LP.
A copy of the street notice and annotated illustrative
drawings have also been placed on the council’s
website (East Riding of Yorkshire Council,
Traffic Management and Road Safety).

4. Objections to the proposed Order, stating the

writing to Traffic & Parking Services, Directorate of
Communities & Environment (Ref: MH), Beverley
Depot, Annie Reed Road, Beverley, HU17 0LF by
8 January 2026.
