What is happening?

PUBLIC NOTICE
MANOR LANE - PROPOSED TRAFFIC CALMING
Notice is hereby given that Sheffield City Council in exercise of its powers under Section 90A of the Highways Act 1980 as amended, (hereinafter called ‘the Act’) and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the chief officer of police in accordance with section 90C of the Act, intends to install road humps as below:
1 Kerb to Kerb flat top speed hump, 75mm high with a 6 metre long plateau with 1.5m ramps at the following location
Manor Lane – at a point 65 metres south of its junction with the southern kerb line of Seaton Crescent.
3 flat top speed cushions, 70mm high, 1.6 metres wide and 1.9 metres long at the following location
Manor Lane – at a point 26 metres north east of its junction with the north
eastern kerb line of Manor Park Road.
2 domed speed cushions, 65mm high, 1.9 metres wide and 1.9 metres long at the following location
Manor Lane – at a point 17 metres south of its junction with the southern kerb line of Seaton Crescent.
These measures are aimed at controlling speed and improving safety for pedestrians and road users at this location.

Any observations, either supporting or objecting to the proposals outlined above should be sent through the web addresses provided or in writing to the undersigned by the 8 January 2026.
