ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(PLEASANT STREET AND WESTBY STREET, LYTHAM ST ANNES, FYLDE BOROUGH) (PROHIBITION OF LOADING (25-26 NO2C)) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 25 November 2025 Lancashire County Council made the above Traffic Regulation Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of loading and unloading in the following lengths of road:
a) Pleasant Street, Lytham St Annes, the east side, from its junction with the centreline of Westby Street for a distance of 16 metres in a southerly direction;
b) Pleasant Street, Lytham St Annes, the west side, from its junction with the centreline of Westby Street for a distance of 16.5 metres in a southerly direction;
c) Westby Street, Lytham St Annes, the south side, from its junction with the centreline of Pleasant Street for a distance of 12.6 metres in an easterly direction;
d) Westby Street, Lytham St Annes, the south side, from its junction with the centreline of Pleasant Street for a distance of 22 metres in a westerly direction.
This Order will come into force on the 08 December 2025. A copy of the Order, and all other relevant documents may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Fylde Borough Council, Town Hall, Lytham St Annes, FY8 1LW, and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, PO Box 100, Preston PR1 0LD, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
quoting ref: LSG4/894. 21213/AFR. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
