SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF THROUGH TRAFFIC AND SUSPENSION
OF THE ONE WAY SYSTEM
ST JOHNS WALK, BRIDLINGTON
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire
Council intends not less than seven days from the date
of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will
be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along and
suspension of the one way system - road closure on
part of St Johns Walk, Bridlington from its junction
with St Johns Avenue northbound for approximately
80 metres and suspension of the one way system on
the remaining part of St Johns Walk, Bridlington to its
junction with Brett Street commencing 6 January
2026 until 7 January 2026 for the purposes of
carriageway maintenance works. The road closure is
necessary to enable the works to be carried out in
a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the
public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is
anticipated that the works will be completed within
two days. The alternative route for traffic affected by
the road closure will be via: N/A no through road
due to road closure. The diversion route will be
signed at the time of closure. The road will be closed
to all through traffic but access will be maintained for
residents, emergency vehicles and pedestrians.
