What is happening?

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TINTO DRIVE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
(NO.TTRO/1966) ORDER 2025

The Council has made the above named Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on the road locally known as Tinto Drive from Kersiebank Avenue to Garry Place from 09.15 hours on 08/12/2025 until 14.45 hours on 10/12/2025. The prohibition is to allow for the remedial works of upgraded pedestrian crossing points.

2. This Order temporarily closes road known locally as Tinto Drive from junction with Kersiebank Avenue to junction with Garry Place. Local access will be maintained. The road will be reopened for school opening and closing times.
3. The alternative route is: Kersiebank Avenue in a north/north-westerly direction, Overton Road in a westerly direction, Kingseat Avenue in a westerly direction, Craigleith Road in a southerly direction, Bowhouse Road in a southerly direction and vice versa. Local access will be maintained.
