What is happening?
CITY OF DONCASTER COUNCIL
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to
be executed on or near the road and the effect will be to prohibit
any vehicle/pedestrian from proceeding in that section of road
that comprises of the railway level crossing area on Selby Road
at Askern in the City of Doncaster District and suspend the 7.5
tonnes weight restriction as described in the Schedule to this
notice on the dates and times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst the renewal of level crossing surfacing works
are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles/
pedestrians affected by the Order is via West End Road, Station
Road, High Street, Ryecroft Road, Campsall Road, Norton
Common Road, Selby Road, Churchfield Road and vice versa.

The Proposed Order will continue in force up to and including
the 26th day of December 2025 or until the works which it is
proposed to carry out in or near the said road have been

NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to
be executed on or near the road and the effect will be to prohibit
any vehicle from proceeding in that length of Gate Wood Lane at
Old Cantley in the City of Doncaster District as described in the
Schedule to this notice on the dates and times referred to in the
said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst new electrical supply works are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that there is no alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order. Those residents and businesses directly
affected by the works will be notified of the scheme and access
arrangements.

Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to
be executed on or near the road and the effect will be to prohibit
any vehicle/pedestrian from proceeding in that length of Bubup
Hill at Loversall in the City of Doncaster District as described in
the Schedule to this notice on the dates and times referred to in
the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works to overhead cabling are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles/
pedestrians affected by the Order is via Bubup Hill, Wadworth
Hill.

proposes to make an Order under the provisions of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the Order will be to revoke the existing prohibition of
driving restriction on the following length of road:-
Moor Lane, Kirk Sandall
From its junction with Doncaster Road, for a distance of 450
metres in a westerly direction
and to introduce a new prohibition of driving restriction over an
extended length of road as follows:
Moor Lane, Kirk Sandall
Both sides
From its junction with Doncaster Road for a distance of 575
metres in a westerly direction
