North Yorkshire Council, 20 Mph Speed Limit, Various Roads, Reighton, Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 84(1) & (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which will be to prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 20 mph on any length of road specified below:- St Helen’s Lane, Reighton, For its entire length. Cowton Lane, Reighton, For its entire length. A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton & at Filey Library, Station Avenue, Filey, YO14 9AE during normal office hours from
04/12/25 until 16/01/26 & also viewed online at

or

If you wish to object to the proposed Order, you should send the grounds for your objection, in writing addressed to The North Yorkshire Council, Traffic Management, County Hall, Racecourse Lane, Northallerton, DL7 8AD or by email to
