3. Any designated parking place situated in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraphs 2(b) above would be suspended.
4. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed using Cannon Hill Lane, Cherrywood Lane and Leamington Avenue.
5. The restrictions and suspension would apply only during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
6. Any vehicle that is in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
7. Nothing in this Order would apply: –
(a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions; or
(d) so as to prevent vehicular access to premises in or adjacent to the length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works;
(e) so as to prevent pedestrian access to properties adjacent to the length of footway specified in sub-paragraph 2(c) above.
8. The Order would come into force on Monday 5th January 2026 and the works are anticipated to be completed on 13th January 2026. However, the Order would remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON
(BATHGATE ROAD, SW19)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate water leakage survey works in Bathgate Road, SW19, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works no person will cause or permit any vehicle to:–
(a) enter or proceed in Bathgate Road, between the common boundary of Nos. 37 and 39 Bathgate Road and the north-eastern boundary of No. 41 Bathgate Road; or
(b) wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading, in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above will be suspended.
4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Queensmere Road and Seymour Road or vice-versa.
6. Nothing in the Order will apply to: –
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
8. The Order will come into operation on Monday 1st December 2025 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out from 10pm on 1st December 2025 until 5am on 2nd December 2025. However, the Order will remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON
(ALEXANDRA ROAD, HAWKES ROAD AND WILSON AVENUE, MITCHAM)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate gas main replacement works in Alexandra Road, Hawkes Road and Wilson Avenue, Mitcham; they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said roads.
2. During the works, no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:–
(a) enter or proceed in:–
(i) Alexandra Road, from its junction with Victoria Road to the common boundary of Nos. 32 and 34 Alexandra Road (Phase 1); or
(ii) Hawkes Road, from its junction with Cambridge Road to its junction with Border Gate (Phase 2); or
(iii) Wilson Avenue, from its junction with Victoria Road to the common boundary of Nos. 1 and 3 Wilson Avenue (Phase 1);
(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the roads or lengths of road specified in sub-paragraphs (a)(i), (ii) and (iii) above.
NB. The works would be carried out in two phases, with the first phase cleared before the second phase starts.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the roads or lengths of road specified in sub-paragraphs 2(a)(i) to (iii) above would be suspended for the duration of the works in those roads or lengths of road.
4. The restrictions and suspensions would apply only during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. During the works, the width restriction in Hawkes Road would be suspended.
6. Vehicular traffic affected by:–
(a) the Alexandra Road closure should proceed via Victoria Road, Taylor Road and Fleming Mead or vice-versa;
(b) the Hawkes Road closure should proceed using Victoria Road, London Road, Lavender Avenue, Steers Mead and Border Gate;
(c) the Wilson Avenue closure should proceed using Victoria Road, London Road, Lavender Avenue, Steers Mead, Border Gate and Hawkes Road.
7. Any vehicle that is in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
8. Nothing in the Order would apply:–
(a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions; or
(d) so as to prevent vehicular access to premises in or adjacent to the roads or lengths of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
9. The Order would come into operation on Monday 5th January 2026 and it is anticipated the works would be completed by 23rd February 2026. However, the Order would remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON
(HAMILTON ROAD MEWS, SW19)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate electrical connection works in Hamilton Road Mews, SW19, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works, no person would: –
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in Hamilton Road Mews, between a point 3 metres east of the eastern boundary of No. 2 Hamilton Road Mews and a point 14 metres east of its junction with Merton Road; or
(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above;
(c) enter or proceed on foot in the length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.
3. The restrictions would apply only during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Hamilton Road, Quicks Road and Merton Road or vice-versa, whilst pedestrians affected by the closure should proceed using Merton Road, Merton High Street and Hamilton Road.
5. Any vehicle that is in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
6. Nothing in the Order would apply to: –
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions;
(d) so as to prevent pedestrian access to properties adjacent to the length of footway specified in sub-paragraph 2(c) above.
7. The Order would come into operation on Monday 5th January 2026 with the works anticipated to be completed within one week. However, the Order would remain in force for a maximum period of 3 months and its provisions would be re-introduced during that period should further works be required.
