What is happening?
Official Notice
(b) introduce waiting and loading restrictions operating “at any time” in the following locations:
(i) Overbury Crescent
(a) from its junction with Parkway south-westward for 100.00 metres.
(b) from its junction with the carriageway comprised in the roundabout at the junctions of Salcot Crescent, Arnhem Drive, Overbury Crescent and Central Parade south-westward for a distance of 100.00 metres.
(ii) The carriageway comprised in the roundabout at the junctions of Salcot Crescent, Arnhem Drive, Overbury Crescent and Central Parade the south-east side, between its junctions with Arnhem Drive and Overbury Crescent
1. The provisions of the Order will not prevent access being maintained for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to any road to which this Order relates, or to any other premises accessible from, and only from, such a road.
2. Whilst the closure remains in force, the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Salcot Crescent and Overbury Crescent, as appropriately signed.
3. The Order will come into effect on 29 November 2025 and will remain in force for one day.
4. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
a) any vehicle involved in setting up the the said event.
b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING ORDER
COULSDON YULETIDE MAGIC EVENT – BRIGHTON ROAD, COULSDON
ASSOCIATED RESTRICTIONS
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the forthcoming Coulsdon Yuletide Magic event, they intend to make a Traffic Order the effect of which will be to introduce a road closure and waiting and loading restrictions in the length of road specified in the Schedules to this Notice.
2. The provisions of the Order will not prevent access being maintained for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to any road to which this Order relates, or to any other premises accessible from, and only from, such a road.
3. Whilst the event is taking place, the alternative routes for traffic will be as detailed below.
• Southbound : Via Chipstead Valley Road B2032 and Lion Green Road A237.
• Northbound : Via Farthing Way A23, or via Lion Green Road A237 and The Avenue.
4. The Order will come into effect on 06 December 2025 and will remain in force for one day.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
