INTRODUCTION OF NEW OR AMENDMENT OF EXISTING PARKING BAYS & WAITING RESTRICTIONS VARIOUS LOCATIONS WITHIN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF CROYDON
The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting) and (Free Parking Places) (No.22) Order 2025
The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (No.22) Order 2025
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 24 November 2025 made the above Traffic Orders under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the Orders will be:
(a) To introduce new or amend existing parking places in the locations detailed in the Schedule to this Notice.
(b) To adjust existing restrictions to accommodate the new or amended arrangements where necessary.
(c) To amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.
3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 01 December 2025 and of all associated Orders can be inspected between 10am and 6pm, at Croydon Central Library, Katharine Street, CR9 1ET until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders were made. Alternatively all related documents or further information can be requested by email to Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk or by post to the Parking Design Team, 3rd Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CR0 1EA.
4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

CROYDON COUNCIL
PROPOSED BUS GATE – LODGE LANE, CROYDON
The Croydon (Prescribed Routes) (No. F47) Traffic Order 20–
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council proposes to make the above Traffic Order under Section 6 and 124 of Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a bus gate in Lodge Lane, cutting through the central reservation, sited opposite the exit to Addington Village Bus Station, to allow buses to turn right.
3. A copy of the proposed Order and all related documents can be inspected until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Order was made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order, between 10am and 6pm, at Croydon Central Library, Katharine Street, CR9 1ET. Alternatively, all documents can be obtained by email request to Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk.
4. Further information on the proposal may be obtained by contacting the Highway Improvements Team (highwayimprovements@croydon.gov.uk).
5. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Order Making Section, Parking Design Team, Croydon Council, Floor 3, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CR0 1EA or email Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk quoting the reference PD/CH/F47 within 21 days of the publication of this notice (by 17 December 2025).
6. The Order is intended to introduce a bus gate in Lodge Lane to allow buses to turn right. These proposals are part of a bus priority scheme aimed at improving bus network efficiency and reducing delays.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the switching on of the New Addington Christmas lights they have made a Traffic Order the effect of which will be to:
(a) temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding in Central Parade, New Addington.
