Barnet, Introduction Of ‘At Any Time’ Waiting Restrictions

What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET

THE BARNET (FREE PARKING PLACES, LOADING PLACES, WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO.*) ORDER 20**

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet propose to make the above-mentioned Order under section 6 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

In order to improve traffic flow, deter obstructive parking, improve sightlines and road safety, the general effect of the above Order would be a to introduce new lengths of ‘At any time’ waiting restrictions at the following locations:

• At the junction of Halsluck Gardens and Lyonsdown Road EN5

• At the green island site on Lyonsdown Road EN5 opposite Nos.78 to 82 Lyonsdown Road

• Opposite Nos.66 to 68 Lyonsdown Road EN5

• Opposite and opposite Nos.71 - 73 Lyonsdown Road EN5

• Opposite No.83 and No.85 Lyonsdown Road EN5

• Outside No.83 to 87 Lyonsdown Road EN5

• Outside No.78 and No.80 Lyonsdown Road EN5

• On the south side of Longmore Avenue EN4 between the junctions of Lyonsdown Road and Longmore Avenue EN5.

• At the junction of Longmore Avenue and Lyonsdown Avenue in the vicinity of No.101 Longmore Avenue EN5.

A copy of the proposed Order, associated plan of the relevant areas and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be obtained, inclusive for a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published, by emailing highwayscorrespondence@barnet.gov.uk or by writing to the Design Team, Highways Section, 3rd Floor, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale, London NW9 4EW.

Any person wishing to object to or comment on the proposed Order should send a written statement explaining their objection/comments, and quoting reference number SCR682 Longmore (RSE012), to the Design Team, London Borough of Barnet, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale NW9 4EW, via the Barnet TraffWeb website or via email to highwayscorrespondence@barnet.gov.uk within 21 days of the date of this Notice.
