What is happening?
Warwickshire County Council
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
D63840 HAMBRIDGE ROAD, KNIGHTCOTE, BIPHOPS ITCHINGTON
Order Effect: Road Closed to vehicular traffic from Hambridge Road to Knightcote Lane.
Reason for Order: To avoid the likelihood of danger to the public while essential repairs are carried out to the damaged bridge along its route.
Order Commences: 27 November 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 5 May 2026.
Access & Diversion: Hambidge Road, Central Drive, Ladbroke Road, Fisher Road, Station Road, Knightcote Road and vice versa.

PUBLIC FOOTPATH W105 IN THE PARISH OF BISHOPS TACHBROOK
Order Effect: Footpath closed to ALL traffic between grid references SP29950-62428 to SP29466-62920.
Reason for Order: Because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the footpath.
Order Commenced: 30 May 2022 for 6 months, subsequently extended and was due to expire 1 December 2025. However, the Secretary of State in exercise of his powers under Section 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has directed that the Order shall continue in force until 1 June 2026, or until works are completed, whichever is the earlier (unless the Secretary of State issues a further direction).
Access & Diversion: There is no alternative route available.

PUBLIC FOOTPATH F1946 WALFORD GROVE TO GRASSINGTON AVENUE, WARWICK
Order Effect: Footpath closed in its entirety to all traffic.
Reason for Order: Footway reconstruction and associated works.
Order Commences: 4 December 2025 for up to 6 months.
Anticipated Completion: 24 December 2025.
Access & Diversion: Walford Grove, Footpath F2124 (alongside 8 Walford Grove and 16 Grassington Avenue), Grassington Avenue and vice versa.

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from A452 to St John’s Street.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 08.00hrs-16.00hrs.
Order Commences: 1 December 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 1 December 2025.
Access & Diversion: A452, St John’s Street and vice versa.

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with Makepeace Avenue.

Order Commences: 4 December 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 24 December 2025.
Access & Diversion: No Suitable diversion.

Order Commences: 1 December 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 1 December 2025.
Access & Diversion: Beauchamp Avenue, Kenilworth Road, A445 Lillington Avenue, A452 Binswood Street and vice versa.

D5071 BLIND LANE, KENILWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from Crackley Lane to Hollis Lane.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 08.00hrs-16.00hrs.
Order Commences: 16 December 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 16 December 2025.
Access & Diversion: Crackley Lane, A452, Hollis Lane.

C54 TYSOE ROAD, LITTLE KINETON
Order Effect: Road Closed to vehicular traffic- filter lane closed from the Green to Tysoe Road.

Order Commences: 18 December 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 18 December 2025.
Access & Diversion: Tysoe Road.

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from a point outside 184 Landor Road to the junction with Rowley Road.
Reason for Order: To enable gas replacement works.
Order Commences: 15 December 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 16 January 2026.
Access & Diversion: Anderson Drive, Villebon Way, Erica Drive, Coppice Road, Moorhill Drive, Landor Road and vice versa.

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between Castle Hill and Castle Street.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 08.00hrs-16.00hrs.
Order Commences: 11 December 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 11 December 2025.
Access & Diversion: A425 Castle Hill, A425 Jury Street, Castle Street.

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable duct laying works.
Order Commences: 15 December 2025 for up to 18 months.

Access & Diversion: Stonehouse Close, Windmill Hill and vice versa.

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works for new electricity supply.
Order Commences: 15 December 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 17 December 2025.
Access & Diversion: New Street, Farley Street, Russell Terrace, George Street, Church Terrace and vice versa.

THORNBY AVENUE, KENILWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To safely enable works to lay new ducting.
Order Commences: 17 December 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 19 December 2025.
Access & Diversion: Arden Road, Hermitage Way, Farmer Ward Road and vice versa.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
