Barnet, Proposed Parking Restrictions To Improve Sightlines & Safety

What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET

THE BARNET (FREE PARKING PLACES, LOADING PLACES, WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO.*) ORDER 20

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

In order to deter obstructive parking, and improve sightlines and safety, the general effect of the Order would be to introduce new lengths of ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions at the following locations below:

a) Outside No.133 Colney Hatch Lane N10.

b) Halliwick Road N10 – Side of No.135 Colney Hatch Lane.

c) Outside and opposite No.94 and No.96 Halliwick Road N10

d) Sutton Road N10 – Side of Colney Hatch Lane Library

e) Wilton Road N10 – Outside Wilton Hall

This proposed waiting restrictions referred to above are additional measures in conjunction with the proposed waiting restrictions referred to in the notice advertised in the local press on 5th December 2024.

A copy of the proposed Order, associated plan of the relevant areas and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be obtained, inclusive for a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published, by emailing Highwayscorrespondence@Barnet.gov.uk or by writing to the Design Team, Highways Section, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale, London NW9 4EW.

Any person wishing to object to or comment on the proposed Order should send a written statement explaining their objection/comments, and quoting reference number SCR683 (RSN021 Sutton, Halliwick, Wilton) to the Design Team, London Borough of Barnet,

2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale NW9 4EW, via the Barnet TraffWeb website or via email to Highwayscorrespondence@Barnet.gov.uk within 21 days of the date of this Notice.
